DON M. SALUBAYBA. b. 1978, Davao City, Philippines

One of the country’s most respected young artist today. He has already participated several selected group exhibitions and several solo exhibitions.

He was one of the delegates for the very first ASEAN Nature Hug Art Camp back in 1998 and also a delegate in the First International Shadowplay Festival in Patras, Greece (2001)

A graduate of the Philippine High School for the Arts (1995) where he majored in visual Arts and finished his degree in Fine Arts in the University of the Philippines (2000).

He is now a visiting Faculty in the Philippine High School for the Arts and a resident Artist in Center for the Arts in San Antonio (CASA) San Miguel, Zambales, Philippines.

An active member of the ANINO Shadowplay Collective (www.anino.tk) and ASKAL Art Initiatives,a group of visual artists based in Tambayang Makiling, an artist run space in Quezon City. (www.askalart.blogspot.com)
